I honestly never knew natural water could be these colors: so blue, turquoise, and teal. And it is also so clear; I can see the duck’s feet swimming! You may have noticed that we added a new section on the right column of our blog called “twitter updates”. Considering how far behind Jay and I are with blog entries, we thought it would be a good idea to start twittering. We’ll be using twitter to fill in the gaps between our blog entries, since we can publish thoughts and updates in a quick and easy format there.

For the past few weeks, I have been playing (well, trying to play, anyway) “pick-up football” (soccer – but I’ll call it football going forward, since that’s what everyone else here calls it!) with a group of other foreigners who are currently living here in Split, Croatia. On May 28th, Kelly and I attended* our first football match (soccer game) here in Croatia. We had a blast; it was a very fun time. A month ago, the match was shaping up to be a huge deal, but Hajduk hasn’t performed as well in the past month, causing the match to lose some of its luster.
