The original theater was built in 1859, but was completely destroyed in a fire in 1881. I’d be curious to see what the original theater looked like back then, but I wasn’t able to find much information on it when I googled it. The current one is quite impressive.

You did in one weekend what some people dream of doing their entire lives. I love that you saw the street dancers…how fun. I love that type of thing. Those surprises that just grab you and draw you in. Too much fun. Love the photo’s by the way. This is what I expected to see all along. The culture feels right and fun and amazing.
